Steffi, a solo female rider from Portugal, began her motorcycle overlanding journey in 2022 on a BMW F700GS. Initially aiming to reach Russia, her plans shifted due to the Ukraine war. After touring Europe for eight months, she intended to ride through the Americas but was thwarted by U.S. visa issues. She then pivoted to the Middle East, navigating complex border and visa situations, before finally shipping her bike to Kenya in early 2024. Her African adventure started in May 2024, and she’s now exploring the continent solo, sharing her experiences and inspiring fellow adventure riders.
